The Nokia 5310 phone is smooth as a newly waxed sports car, so you will want to show it off to all of your friends and family members. Yet with a thickness of 9.9 mm, the phone is still perfect for listening to your favorite tunes while jogging around the block or commuting to work or school via a bus, taxi, or subway train. Nokia5310 XpressMusic phone is a super-slim candybar handset (with only 9.9 millimeter thick and weighs less than 71 grams) is Nokia answer to Sony Ericsson W880 model, also a cute one. The handset is stylish, which comes in a mainly black coloured casing complete with coloured sections which makes this phone look very fashionable. The 5310 XpressMusic comes with a choice of either bright red or bright blue coloured sections which highlights the phones large screen & dedicated music keysWith dedicated music controls on its left edge, it`s thin profile and lightweight design made it practically unnoticeable in our pockets.The mobile phone feels solid as a rock when you hold it. While sleek, the aluminium sides and color arrangement causes the phone to appear elegant, yet modest.
Nokia’s placing of the 3.5 mm headphone jack at the mobile phone’s top, was an outstanding design choice. This conveniently prevents the cables from becoming knotted up. Also, the music control keys rise up perfectly off the phone’s surface, making them easy to locate when the phone is concealed in a purse or pants pocket. The cool display of the Nokia 5310 mobile phone is equally as attractive and practical as its body. A big 240 X 302 pixels display, with 16 million colors. That’s right, 16 million! On the display you can enjoy several text messaging features, such as picture messaging, SMS distribution lists, and concatenated SMS. Weight and size are very important for a music cell phone, especially on more budget phones. We’re talking about wanting to plug in our own preference of headphones of course, as not everyone wants to use the often poor quality ones supplied. Nokia have not only incorporated a 3.5mm jack plug into the 5310, but they have thoughtfully placed it on the top, right next to a mini-USB socket and the power button! Aside from this you get a 2MP camera, stereo FM radio and a MicroSD slot for the supplied 2GB card, although the phone can take up to a 4GB version should you have enough music. To improve browsing options for this cell phone, though, Nokia has tucked away an Opera Mini browser in its Applications folder. This is optimised for small screen rendering of web pages, delivering them quickly in scroll down fashion. Nokia 5310 user can capture photographs, video clips and pictures with friends using the integrated 2 megapixel camera feature.
The camera comes with a useful zoom feature which allows the user to get closer to their subject when taking a shot, the zoom button is very easy to use. The zoom is a 4 x digital zoom, the user can view their subject on the 2 Inch high resolution screen. The phone supports video capabilities which allow the user to view and record their video clips. The Nokia 5310 user can share their photographs and videoclips with others by using the MMS messaging service or the email service with supports attachments. The user can create an email complete with an attachment in JPEG, 3GPP, MP3, PPT, DOC, XLS or PDF format. The MMS messaging service allows the user to send & receive messages complete with photographs, images or video clips with sound and text.
Nokia 5310 is a great cell phone, you can use it for pictures or music, is a multimedia monster.
